After you go through the trouble of digging out a spot, make sure you pull your car out and then fill out back in with snow.

I’m pretty sure I can just drive through those chairs.

Looks like a free chair zone to me. Just what my patio needs!

Does this work like a gun-free zone?

If someone in Chicago puts out a chair, you risk your life if you touch it. And this is not an exaggeration. Guns don’t have to involved. Damage to your car may just be a first warning. I’m surprised however by these plastic chairs. Normally they blow away too easily. Perhaps a newbie. Metal 50's era chairs are the best.

So if I just pulled in there and pushed a few lawn chairs out of the way would someone key my car or slash my tires?

Does this really deter people, because I’d move the damn things just out of spite.

Is that legal? I live on a quasi-residential street... Street parking is allegedly “prioritied” for us, but someone else can technically park streets side for 72 hours. We have some people who but up obstructions like large rocks, but it’s technically city property I believe...

Streets are usually the local municipalities right-of-way. So I’d just throw the chairs into the back of my truck and call it good.

Screw this crap. I'll stay in the South where we have garages.

As long as you have a CCW that permits you to exercise your rights. Speaking of rights. Why can’t you leave a chair there? I mean, it’s a parking spot. But who says you can’t park a chair there?

Kind of. The type of car port with walls and a big door that goes up and down.

You must be in the wealthy parts that can afford that fanciness.

I even have all of my teeth. That's just the kind of fancy we do around here. Walls and teeth.
